This role will play a significant part in driving the future development of SME Finance Group (SME Finance, neoBank and other) in the Baltics regional area, leading Strategic Marketing across the product business units serving the region and the local commercial teams, helping them to establish their target market and essentials to win.

You will create the long-term market and customer insight, key to building a growing organisation in the region, focussing on our key markets and working closely with our businesses, central teams and external partners.

In this role you will:

-Provide valuable insights on market segmentation across species and across customer segments, supporting the design of a clear growth market strategy including choices about who we sell, how we sell, and what we sell

-Identify potential commercial opportunities and translating business strategy into specific and prioritised actions, including inorganic growth plans, with a market driven focus

-To influence and deliver strategic marketing insight, supporting offering positioning, and commercial product marketing reinforcing our strengths as an organization to help differentiating ourselves from competitors

-Work closely with Baltic and SME Finance Group teams to create a customer driven pipeline, and to support market potential analysis work

-Work closely with the local commercial leaders to promote new products, services and business models that have strategic fit with the Baltic region market opportunities

-Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share

-Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)

-Evaluate and develop marketing strategy & budget monthly, quarterly and annually

-Coordinate SME Finance Group marketing projects from start to finish

-Set, monitor and report on team goals

-Travel be required between Baltic region offices


-Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required. Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications is a plus

-Minimum 7+ years professional experience leading teams through a strategic marketing process and applying tools, with at least 3 years in leadership position

-Experience within an international strategic marketing role, preferably within our industry

-Strong awareness of key drivers in the external market and ability to source information through external networks

-Proven track record of positively influencing business performance

-Market insight experience, and because of past experience, understanding both industry trends and more specific customer needs and buying behaviours

-Ability to understand customer, regional channels, and competitor’s considerations in developing strategic options to achieve objectives

-Strong commercial acumen – able to understand how value is created and retained within a market or business

-Experience of leading high performing teams

-Ability to create and communicate solutions based on sound evidence and thinking

-Strategic problem solving, well developed collaboration skills and excellent work ethics

-Deep knowledge and understanding of „FinTech“ (preferred)

-Fluent in English (Russian language would be beneficial)
